A transformative journey
The training academy is a unique opportunity for educators to support young people on the Ambassadors Programme to connect more deeply with nature, each other and the planet at a time when it matters most.
Over the course of a year, teachers and educators help young people develop the confidence and agency to take meaningful action, while also enriching their own personal and professional development.
Along the way, they join a community of like-minded individuals, building connections and growing together through a shared commitment to young people and the future of our planet.
Why it matters
We reach young people in Year 7 and 8, at a key age when climate worries start to increase and time spent in nature decreases. While this could easily tip into apathy or fear, we see it as a moment to instill optimism and agency – showing young people how action and activism can make a difference.
As a trained educator you can address these issues head on.
Unique Training
Over the year, teachers build a toolkit of facilitation skills, relational
approaches and communication, reflective and self care practices, while increasing their self-awareness and confidence
Access to Funding
A fund of up to £5,000 is available to support cover requirements, an applicable TLR and costs to the school associated with supporting this programme.
Support & Guidance
Through informal visits with our dedicated team, teachers receive 1:1 guidance on their personal and professional development journey.
Likeminded Community
Teachers join a supportive community with regular opportunities to connect, share learning and reflect together with diverse perspectives and feedback to learn from.
